Karen Child Ogden is a licensed marriage and family therapist and contributor to the Temptation of a Generation children’s book series. She is a frequent speaker on issues of technology and children. She has a bachelor’s degree in Communication from the University of Utah, and a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of San Diego. She has worked with children, families and couples and has led therapy and educational groups on topics such as pornography addiction, domestic violence, self-esteem, body image, communication skills, anger management, and parenting issues.

She specializes in working with women in relationships, with premarital couples, and with those struggling with compulsive addictions. She initiated and contributed to the first children’s book series to tackle the tough topics of pornography, cell phone use and abuse, and cyber-bullying. She is actively involved in educating parents about the effects of technology on children. She served on the Board of Directors for The Children’s Center in Salt Lake City from 2004-07, and most recently as a Co-Executive Director for LifeSTAR Los Angeles.
